Congratulations! Zhumadian Cable Accomplished Installation and Commissioning
On February 1, 2005, the XLPE cable insulating online monitoring system, designed for Zhumadian Electricity Bureau of Henan Power Corp., accomplished installation and commissioning under joint effort paid by relevant leaders from the bureau and technical personnel. The system started formal use from February 2.
The system is mainly used to monitor XLPE cable insulation status and regards direct current and insulation resistance of the cable as key index. It uses DSP system, mobile wireless network, remote measurement and data transfer to display a trend graph of cable insulation status and realize warning, historic data search and other relevant functions.
This system is another high-tech product developed by Boyuan. Up to now, the project runs stably and conveniently. Testing result is basically in line with forecasted data, fulfilling online monitoring requirements and wining customer satisfaction.
