The 3rd generation transformer PD online monitoring system has been developed successfully. The system is designed based on self-developing FPGA high speed capture card, in field distributed structure, by using of optical cable transmission PD signal that is enable insulation between the front capturing unit and rear signal processing unit. It enhanced security, reliability and anti-jamming of the integrated system, enable more flexible structure, extended function and maintenance.
The system has been successfully applied into 330kV Lu Cheng transformer substation, Shang Luo Shaanxi in March, 2009. By now, new system has worked stably in good condition. The success of this R&D means that Boyuan had already achieved the essential progress on online monitoring product based on distributed architecture.
